Dosages:
Abnormal uterine bleeding from hormonal imbalance
Adolescent, adult: 5-10 mg PO qd × 5-10 day beginning on day 16 or 21 of menstrual cycle. Pt on estogen: 10 mg PO qd × 10 day beginning on day 16 of cycle.

Contraception
Adolescent, adult: 150 mg IM q 3 month; give 1st inj on 1st 5 day of menstrual cycle.

Secondary amenorrhea
Adolescent, adult: 5-10 mg PO qd × 5-10 day.

Endometrial, renal CA
Adolescent, adult: 400-1,000 mg IM q wk.
